Leading short video sharing platform, Douyin, has recently tested an express service called “Yinzunda”(音尊达). The new product offering aims to address issues with telephone contact numbers, door-to-door delivery issues, and poor service attitudes that happen during traditional package delivery services.
The platform outlines the rights and interests of merchants, which include: door-to-door delivery, priority delivery, compensation for customer complaints, priority parcel shipment, and 1-on-1 customer service. These services can help reduce the return rate of goods due to logistics and improve the repurchase rate of users.
Self-Developed NetEase Mobile Game Is Shut Down
On Wednesday, Chinese internet technology firm NetEase officially announced that its “Unknown Future” game will officially stop operating at 15:00 on March 14, 2022 with compensation arrangements to be provided.
According to the official announcement, after 14:00 on Wednesday, the download portal for the gaming platform would close, while game recharging and new user registration would be shut down.

Geely’s 10 Billion Yuan High-Performance Electric Drive Project Settled in Wuxi
On January 8, Chinese automaker Geely signed an agreement with the Wuxi city government for the landing of its high-performance electric drive project, with a total investment of 10 billion yuan ($1.57 billion), situated in the Wuxi Huishan Economic Development Zone.
The project will be mainly engaged in the R&D, production and sales of high-performance electric drive series products. Included in the plans are 600,000 sets of new energy powertrains.
Alipay’s New Delegated Investment Product Halted for Non-Compliance
1st Century Business Herald reported on Thursday that a new delegated investment product, “Jinxuan Investment,” launched by Alipay and other six institutions on January 4 this year, has been suspended only after about a week of its launch.
“It was stopped because of compliance issues,” a source said on Wednesday. “The funds base is chosen by Alipay instead of these six investment institutions. However, Alipay does not have the qualification of fund evaluation business,” said the source.

Baidu Subsidiary Receives Compensation in Click Farming Lawsuit
Haidian District People’s Court of Beijing announced on its official WeChat account on Thursday that it has found Shenzhen Woai Network Technology Co., Ltd., liable for interfering with the search engine algorithm and is required to compensate Beijing Baidu Netcom Technology Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Baidu.
This is the first case in China involving disputes over unfair competition particularly as it pertains to click farming platforms interfering with search engine algorithms.
Xiaomi to Discontinue Blockchain Pet Cryptorabbit on March 1
The Cryptorabbit (加密兔 Jiāmì Tù) is a blockchain product launched by Chinese electronics giant Xiaomi in 2018. On Thursday, an official website announcement by the firm said: “At present, there is still much room for improvement in the functions and playing methods of the Cryptorabbit, so major adjustments have to be made. The Cryptorabbit (including all of its functions) will officially go offline at 00:00:00 on March 1, 2022.”
Alibaba Issues Series of High-Level Promotions, Nine Individuals Rise to VP or Above

The list contains all middle and senior managers promoted to the internal classifications of “P10” (Senior Director), “M6” (Vice President) and “M7” (Senior Vice President).
Alibaba‘s fiscal year begins on April 1. Usually, promotions occur in March and April, but this year the promotions came two months earlier.
